Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Arrangements, Misleading Promises, and Unjustified Performance Fee We wish to formally express our serious disappointment with the overall arrangements and services provided at the Fashion Show held on 4th October 2026 at Hotel Le Méridien, Nagpur, and the Grooming Day held on 3rd October 2026. An additional fee of ₹10,000 was charged specifically for the Participant Performance, over and above the registration fee of ₹3,000. Despite this substantial additional charge, there were no judges, no performance evaluation, and no meaningful recognition beyond participation certificates. This raises serious concerns about the purpose and justification of the performance fee. If participants are charged separately for their performances, they are entitled to a proper judging process, fair evaluation, and clear transparency regarding what the fee covers. Furthermore, the arrangements on Grooming Day were highly unsatisfactory. No proper seating was provided for parents, forcing everyone to stand uncomfortably for an extended period. Such inadequate arrangements reflect a lack of consideration for the parents who have invested their time, trust, and money in the event. The quality of the services provided on Performance Day was equally disappointing. The makeup services provided by Lakmé, as understood, were below expectations, and the outfits supplied by the designer were ordinary, lacked uniqueness, and did not reflect the quality expected from such an event. We were explicitly promised premium, branded clothing, but the outfits provided fell significantly short of those assurances. The overall experience did not match the promises made or the amount charged. Parents and participants deserve honest communication, professional arrangements, quality services, and accountability from the organizers. We therefore request the organizers to: 1. Provide a clear, written explanation justifying the additional ₹10,000 performance fee. 2. Arrange a refund of the performance fee, considering the absence of judging and performance evaluation, or propose an appropriate resolution. 3. Address the serious concerns regarding the lack of seating arrangements for parents. 4. Explain the discrepancy between the promised premium, branded outfits and the clothing actually provided, along with the concerns regarding makeup quality. We are raising these issues with the expectation of a fair and satisfactory resolution. We hope the organizers will demonstrate accountability, transparency, and respect for the participants and parents who placed their trust in this event.

We would like to raise a concern regarding the Fashion Show held by you on 4/10/26 in hotel Lemaredian in the Nagpur. We were charged a separate fee for the Participant Performance. However, there were no judges present, and no judging or evaluation of the performances was conducted. In the start, only participation certificates were provided. Since a separate fee was charged for the performance, we expected proper judging, evaluation, and recognition based on the performance. Unfortunately, this was not provided, which was disappointing. Kindly clarify why the performance fee was charged and why judges/evaluation were not arranged. We request you to look into this matter and provide an appropriate resolution. Thank you.

Our daughter was not very confident about performing in front of so many people before this. The audition was her first proper experience of performing in front of a jury. She was nervous, but after it was done she was very happy. By the time of the finale, she was much more excited than nervous. She enjoyed the backstage preparation and taking photographs. She also liked meeting the other children. The stage, music and lights made the final walk really special. We were sitting in the audience and cheering for her like any parent would.

✨ Audition, Backstage Experience & Final Runway

We recently participated in India Kids Fashion Week Season 13, and overall it was a very memorable experience for our family. This was the first time our daughter had taken part in a fashion event of this scale, so naturally she was quite nervous before the audition. We were also unsure about how she would respond to being around so many new people and performing in front of a jury. The audition experience turned out to be much smoother than we expected. After the initial nervousness, she became comfortable and started enjoying the experience. What we appreciated most was the opportunity for her to interact with other children and gain confidence throughout the process. The finale was definitely the highlight for us. She was very excited about getting ready, the photography session and spending time backstage with the other participants. The atmosphere was energetic, and she kept telling us how much she enjoyed seeing everyone preparing for the final show. As parents, we were particularly happy to see how confidently she walked on the runway. At the beginning of the journey, she was hesitant and shy, but by the finale she was smiling, participating actively and enjoying herself. That change was the most rewarding part for us. There were a few moments when the schedule felt busy and there was a lot happening around the children, but overall the experience was well worth it. We are glad that we allowed our daughter to participate because she gained a new experience, met new friends and became more confident.

Our experience with India Kids Fashion Week was really nice. It was the first time our daughter was taking part in something like this, so obviously we were a little worried in the beginning. At the audition she was quite nervous, but the people there made her comfortable. Once her turn was over, she was actually very happy with herself. The finale was even more exciting for her. She enjoyed getting ready, meeting the other kids and doing the photography. She kept talking about the stage and lights even before the show started. As parents, we were also comfortable because the team was guiding the children backstage. Watching our daughter walk on the stage with so much confidence was honestly the best part for us. Overall, a very good experience and we are happy we let her participate.

My son is normally a little shy, especially when there are many people around. So we were not sure how he would react at the audition. He was nervous in the beginning but slowly became comfortable. After the audition, he was actually excited about the finale. The finale was a great experience for him. He enjoyed the backstage activities, photography and meeting the other kids. By the time he had to walk on the runway, he looked much more confident than he did during the audition. For us, that was the biggest thing. He got confidence from the whole experience. We were happy seeing that change in him.

This was our daughter's first fashion event, so everything was new for her as well as for us. She was a little scared before the audition but after completing it she was very excited. She loved the photography part and was very happy getting ready for the finale. There were lots of children backstage and she made some new friends too. The whole atmosphere was quite exciting for her. The final walk was definitely our favourite moment. She came back home very tired but kept talking about the show. Overall, we had a really good experience with IKFW.

As parents, our main concern was how the children would be managed during the event. There were quite a lot of kids, so we were wondering how everything would happen. But our daughter seemed comfortable throughout. During the audition she was nervous at first, but the team helped her settle down. She really enjoyed the finale, specially the getting ready and photography part. We also liked that the kids were being guided backstage instead of being left on their own. The runway walk was a very proud moment for us. She looked much more confident than we expected. Overall, a good experience for our family.
